Al-Nahda Society signed a cooperation agreement with the College of Architecture and Planning at King Saud University through the Riyadh Central Census Project, which involves employing students of the College of Architecture and Planning in cooperative jobs and designing surveys to assess buildings as part of their academic specialization. The agreement was signed by Dr. Abdulaziz bin Jarallah Al-Dughaishim, Dean of the College of Architecture and Planning, and by Ms. Rasha Al-Turki, Executive Director of Al-Nahda Society.
The areas of cooperation include all matters related to the responsibilities of both parties to achieve the desired goals, such as conducting joint scientific research and studies on topics of mutual interest. Both parties will collaborate in organizing and hosting seminars, conferences, discussion sessions, and workshops on matters of shared interest. The agreement allows Al-Nahda’s Research Team to conduct surveys and focus groups at the College of Architecture and Planning, King Saud University, to benefit its research projects.
The agreement also includes providing training and volunteer opportunities for students of the College of Architecture and Planning to work on research projects and conduct surveys. Faculty members are encouraged to nominate students for volunteering and training at Al-Nahda’s Research Center. Each party will invite the other to participate in or co-organize events related to joint work. Both parties will exchange information and data of mutual interest, including copies and reproductions as needed while respecting intellectual property rights. Additionally, both parties will share all publications, printed materials, journals, and audio-visual content produced individually or jointly.
