Al-Nahda participated in the draft meeting of the Women’s Engagement Group (W20) Summit in Japan 2019, represented by Ms. Salma Al-Rashed, Director of the Development Programs Department and member of the Saudi delegation; Dr. Yasmin Al-Tuwaijri, Board Member; and Ms. Dalal Al-Tuwaijri, Development Programs Coordinator in Japan.

The meeting focused on preparing the final W20 statement, discussing the challenges facing women and girls in various areas, including achieving fairness in the labor market, financial inclusion, and inclusion in technology and science. The discussions aimed to ensure the economic empowerment of women in G20 countries and, ultimately, globally.
